There has been a lot going on in the background for the last few months. Sometimes when the need is urgent, it just seems that time drags on and on. However, it has been absolutely necessary for OAWO to quietly build a rock solid foundation before moving forward. Now the time has come and we are ready to go and review several secure sites near Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. When OAWO finds the right location, we are ready to start-up the school and training center for recovering underage victims of human trafficking. It is so important to give damaged children a chance to build a real future. Yes, it is a lot of work but the end result is so worth it. How can you gauge how much it is worth to set a child free from fear, suffering, hopelessness and plain outright slavery. And how much is it worth to give them a chance to know happiness and grow up to be productive and successful ............. PRICELESS.
It has been incredibly hard to resist running ahead of resources and proper planning, but OAWO is now in a position that we can finally go ahead. We wish to thank the great people who have devoted their time, effort and resources to help us bring hope and recovery to these devastated victims. These children need safety, counceling and somewhere to grow and build a chance for a future life free from the traumas of their past.
